Peter Roed

Certified Mediator

Children's well-being has always been crucial to Peter. He began his career in public school as a trained teacher but promptly found his niche in family counselling and conflict mediation.

Peter has been voluntarily providing divorce and post-breakup advice, primarily to fathers, since 2015. Since 2017, he has actively engaged in professional counseling. During this period, he has served as a representative for the parties involved across Denmark and participated in many family meetings at the Agency of Family Law (Familieretshuset) and with the municipalities.

With his professional expertise in divorce and post-breakup family dynamics, Peter has been actively involved in numerous family disputes and family mediations. He has conducted several courses and trainings for a variety of clients, including legal officers at the Agency of Family Law (Familieretshuset), social workers, and family consultants. He continues to teach and guide legal officers and lawyers in the family field and the family law system to this day.

Peter has also been a certified mediator since 2023, trained at a Legal Education Centre (JUC-juridisk uddannelsescenter).

Helle-Mie Østergaard

Psychotherapist

Helle Mie is a trained psychotherapist who also has extended experience with child counseling. In addition, she holds a master's degree in theology and is a qualified social worker.

Helle-Mie is an experienced psychotherapist with in-depth knowledge of high-conflict cases and different forms of emotional abuse.
Our clients experienced feeling understood and embraced with their own viewpoints based on where they stand mentally, and that provides an exceptionally solid foundation for advising when both parties feel seen, acknowledged, and understood.

Helle-Mie has a comprehensive understanding of family dynamics, relational issues, mental abuse, and PTSD. She has extensive experience in family and conflict mediation alongside Peter Roed, where they have facilitated numerous custody, residence, and visitation agreements without the family court's involvement.

Helle Mie is solution-focused, which is an important factor in a counselling process where we aim to bridge the gap between the current situation and challenges to contribute to individual solutions that are realistic, sustainable, and useful for moving forward.
